🗂️ Cyber Warfare
Remote Command Execution (RCE) is a serious cybersecurity vulnerability that allows attackers to run their own commands or code on a target computer or server from a remote location. This means that, if a system is vulnerable, someone on the internet could take control of it, potentially stealing data, installing malware, or disrupting services. RCE flaws typically occur when software fails to properly check or sanitize user input, giving attackers a way to inject malicious commands. Because of the high level of control RCE provides to attackers, it is considered one of the most dangerous types of security issues.
