RDNA 1.5 refers to an intermediate version of AMD's RDNA (Radeon DNA) graphics architecture, positioned between the original RDNA 1.0 and RDNA 2.0. It was used in select AMD GPUs, providing incremental improvements in performance and efficiency over RDNA 1.0, but lacking some of the advanced features introduced in RDNA 2.0, such as hardware-accelerated ray tracing. RDNA 1.5 is not an official AMD designation but is commonly used in the tech community to describe GPUs that bridge the gap between the two major RDNA generations. These GPUs are often found in certain custom or semi-custom products, including gaming consoles and some discrete graphics cards.
