A LiPo (Lithium Polymer) battery is a type of rechargeable battery that uses a polymer electrolyte instead of a liquid one. Known for being lightweight and having a high energy density, LiPo batteries are widely used in portable electronics, remote-controlled devices, and DIY electronics projects. In cybersecurity, proper handling and storage of LiPo batteries is important to prevent risks such as overheating, fire, or explosion, which can threaten the physical security of devices and data. Mishandling or physical tampering with LiPo batteries can also be exploited in attacks targeting the hardware layer of electronic systems.
