The Deep Web refers to all parts of the internet that are not indexed by standard search engines like Google or Bing. This includes private databases, academic archives, password-protected websites, subscription services, and internal company networks. Unlike the surface web, which is easily accessible through search engines, the Deep Web requires specific permissions, credentials, or direct URLs to access its content. While sometimes confused with the Dark Web, the Deep Web is much larger and mostly consists of legitimate, everyday online resources that are simply not publicly searchable.
